Due to the phenomenal reaction to the sell out launch show in London, the Cake & Bake Show, the UK’s biggest experiential event dedicated to all things baking, is proud to announce that a second edition of the show will take place at Manchester Central over three days, 5th-7th April 2013.
The inaugural Cake & Bake Show held this weekend was a sell out success! The response to tickets was overwhelming as soon as they went on sale in July and following an increase in floor space and an extension in the opening times, more than 21,000 baking fans were welcomed through the door during the two day event, held at London’s Earls Court. Britain’s largest ever show dedicated to sugar craft, cake decorating and baking was a roaring success. Demonstrations from all the contemporary stars of cake making and baking, including Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Richard Bertinet, Eric Lanlard, Paul a Young and Claire Clarke, took place along with appearances from the current contestants and past winners from The Great British Bake Off. Following on from the success of this launch event, the organisers are pleased to announce that The Cake & Bake Show will be coming to Manchester for three days from 5th-7th April 2013, before returning to London next September. Hosted at the award winning Manchester Central events venue, visitors can look forward to more of the same great features and speaker demonstrations, plus some exciting new plans, which will build on visitor feedback from this year’s event. The Cake & Bake Shows offer everything the home baker, sugarcrafter, cake eater, amateur enthusiast or professional baker could need, and provide baking fans of all ages a chance to come together for inspiration, eating, encouragement, education and entertainment.
Due to overwhelming demand, we have reached our ticket sales capacity set by the venue. (Though late entry tickets on Saturday - 5pm-9pm, are still available.) There is a possibility that tickets MAY become available on the door in the afternoon on both days, but this is entirely dependent on capacity at that time, and we CANNOT guarantee this. Visit the Cake & Bake Show on SUNDAY 23rd September and meet the baking queen in person as she signs copies of her latest book at the show. Sunday is also the only day you will be able to see Mary and fellow Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood under one roof, as Mary appears in the Cake Kitchen while Paul will be judging the live bake offs in the Kids Kitchen.

The Cake & Bake Show is working with Grainchain.com - a curriculum linked education resource on the story of grain-based food – to bring a programme of exciting live Bake Off competitions to the show in September!
The Cake & Bake Show is proud to announce that Tom Herbert will join the headliners demonstrating at the event. The School of Artisan Food and Squires Kitchen’s International School will also be taking part in the show, joining the likes of Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Richard Bertinet, Eric Lanlard, Paul a Young and Peggy Porschen at what is set to be the baking event of 2012.
